In the first activity from the Teacher’s Guide to the Jamie is Jamie series by Afsaneh Moradian and Illustrated by Maria Bogade, children build off a shared read aloud of Jamie is Jamie: A Book About Being Yourself and Playing Your Way. In addition to reflection and discussion, children practice using details from a text to support their ideas. The free resource includes adaptations for extending the activity and for use with older children.
